Typo started life back in 2009 with one store in Melbourne filled with unique, quirky and affordable stationery and gifts. We’ve grown to over 200 stores across 13 countries and we still love delivering everyday items with a twist through distinctive design, a little cheekiness and a lot of fun!

ABOUT THE ROLE
 
As an Area Manager for Team Typo, you will play an integral role in our retail operations space, working with your team to develop commercial acumen and achieve K.P.I. targets across a remit of 7-9 stores.
This challenging role will see you responsible for sales and KPI performance, rosters and wage control, team training and development, store presentation, inventory management, recruitment and most importantly, maintaining the Typo culture across your area.
Key to the success of this position is your ability to train, coach and develop your team while driving sales across your stores.
 
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 
You have a minimum of 12 months experience leading a multisite team across the retail space or as Store Manager in a big box environment
You have commercial acumen and understand how to merchant stock to increase sales and achieve results.
Your energetic and passionate nature has allowed you to lead a successful team and deliver exceptional results, exceeding KPI’s and targets.
You have proven success to motivating and inspiring others, building our future leaders and succession planning to drive the success of your retail stores.
You are operationally strong, have excellent time management skills and can problem solve your way out of any issue that presents itself
 
Special Requirements:
 A current Driver’s License and personal vehicle is a must for this position.
